Bespoke tailor visiting Tunbridge Wells
Jonathan Quearney is a Savile Row-trained bespoke tailor with a studio on the King’s Road, Chelsea, who comes to customers in Tunbridge Wells and the villages around it: Southborough, Pembury, Langton Green, Speldhurst, Frant and Wadhurst.
We visit you at home or at work, bringing cloth bunches, pattern books and tape. The first appointment takes about an hour: we talk about what you want the garment for and how you dress, look at cloth together and take your measurements. Fittings can happen at home too, where you can try the garment with your own shirts and shoes, or at the studio when you are in London anyway.
Bespoke suits are cut from a pattern drafted for you alone and finished over three fittings, from £4,000. Made-to-measure suits, with two fittings, are from £1,750. We also make jackets, overcoats, dinner jackets, trousers and shirts.
Why customers in Tunbridge Wells use us
Most of our Kent customers are busy people who would rather not give up a Saturday to the train and Savile Row. A home visit means the measuring, the cloth and the fittings fit around you, and every appointment is with Jonathan himself. We are happy to give you time to understand what is involved and to reflect before you decide to go ahead.
“Jonathan has a solid Savile Row tailoring background, which he combines with a modern eye to create some cracking tailoring. He has the fantastic ability to straddle both traditional tastes and more modern takes on style.”

It takes about an hour and there is no charge. We bring cloth bunches, pattern books and tape, talk about what you want the garment for and how you like to dress, and take your measurements and notes on how you stand and move. You are left with a clear idea of cloth, style and price, and we are happy to give you time to reflect before you decide to go ahead.
