Jonathan acquired his first tailoring skills at an early age working in his father’s bespoke tailoring business in Dublin. His interest in the craft led him to Savile Row, the traditional home of bespoke tailoring and where Jonathan trained diligently and mastered the art of tailoring. An alumnus of Airey & Wheeler, colonial tailors to Winston Churchill, Jonathan also had an introduction to the independent tailor’s route through time spent working with his mentor Thomas Mahon, owner of English Cut. During this time Jonathan started using his own free hand to cut true bespoke silhouettes that are subtle but individual. The demand for his suits led to the opening of his first shop in London 5 years ago following the success of which he has moved to a larger shop. His customers vary from the suit wearing elite of New York and London, to artists who appreciate Jonathan’s ability to turn the craft of tailoring into an art itself.
